”New Light is the result of digging through my archive and attempting to find narrative and truth in a collection of photos which originally felt unrelated and singular. I wasn't sure what I would 'find' when I decided to do this, but I wasn't expecting to be confronted with a reality of myself which I was previously unaware of or that I was ignoring. It was an uncomfortable thing to discover, that my photographs contained a greater honesty about myself than that which I thought I was capable of, but ultimately I think this discovery is a good thing.”
